Students who have acquired a Learner's Permit through The Teens Drivers Ed Program must satisfy the document requirements outlined below:
Eligibility and Document Requirements:
To be eligible for the driving test, you must meet the following requirements and provide the necessary documents:
A valid learner’s license, which you must have held for a minimum of six months.
Proof of completion of a Driver’s Education course, consisting of 32 hours of classroom instruction and 14 hours of behind-the-wheel training. Depending on your education source, you will need to obtain the appropriate certificate:
If you attended a Driving School, you must obtain a DE-964 certificate issued by the driving school.
If you completed an Online Driver Education course, you must obtain a DE-964 certificate from the online course provider.
If you are a Parent-Taught Student, you must obtain a PTDE-964 certificate from the Parent-Taught course provider.
Verification of Enrollment (V.O.E) from your High School, which expires 30 days from the date of issuance. This is a requirement for students under the age of 18 only.
Completion of a 30-Hour Parent Driving Log. You can print the 30-hour log by clicking here.
The cost of the Driving Test is $80 and allows for one attempt. A second attempt on the same day costs $40, while any subsequent attempts on different days cost $45.
If needed, you can rent a School Car specifically for the road test for an additional fee of $25.

Cost of the Driving Test:
The fee for the driving test is $80.00.
You are allowed only one attempt at the test on the same day. If you require a second attempt on the same day, it will cost $40. For any additional attempts on other days, the fee is $45.
If needed, you can rent a school car for the road test at a cost of $25.
