Court-Accepted Defensive Driving at Half the Price
Every TDLR-approved defensive driving course dismisses a ticket the same way, so price, format, and support are what really set providers apart. Starting at $25, we run roughly half what the big national brands charge.
Just $25 to Start
$25 for our online course, compared to $49–$59 at the big national providers. Same court-accepted outcome, half the price tag.
Take It However Works for You
Go self-paced online, join a live virtual class, or attend in person at a Texas support location — flexibility national online-only providers can't match.
A Real Texas Company You Can Call
Four support locations across Texas and an actual team on the phone — not a faceless national website. We've been serving Texas drivers for years.
Dismiss Your Ticket in 4 Steps
Confirm eligibility with your court, work through the 6-hour course, and turn in your certificate — that's the whole process.

1. Check In With Your Court First
Before enrolling, confirm with the court listed on your citation that you qualify for dismissal. Most courts ask for a request, your driver license, proof of insurance, and a small fee.

2. Enroll With Asian Driving School (From $25)
Choose your format — online, online-live, or in-person — and register in minutes. It's the 6-hour TDLR-approved program under License CP1014.

3. Complete It Before Your Deadline
Your court sets the submission deadline. The course runs about 6 hours total, and you can move at your own pace online — just don't miss the date on your citation.

4. Turn In Your Certificate
Your certificate is ready the moment you finish — download it and send it to your court. Your ticket gets dismissed and no points hit your record.
Do You Qualify for Dismissal?
Texas law lets most eligible drivers clear one ticket every 12 months through a defensive driving course. You'll typically qualify if all four items below apply to you — though it's always worth confirming with your specific court, since rules vary by jurisdiction.
Valid Texas Driver License — Texas Violation Only
You'll need a valid Texas license, and the citation has to come from a Texas court — violations from other states don't qualify.
No Course in the Past 12 Months
Texas only permits one dismissal through defensive driving per 12-month period.
Not a CDL Holder
Drivers holding a commercial driver license (CDL) can't use this course for dismissal.
Not Cited 25+ mph Over the Limit
Tickets for going 25+ mph over the limit, or certain other serious violations, don't qualify.
Clear the Ticket, Trim Your Insurance
A defensive driving course does more than clear a ticket. Most insurers knock up to 10% off your premium for finishing a state-approved course, which can make the course pay for itself — check with your provider to see if they offer the discount.
What's Covered — 6-Hour TDLR-Approved Course
Everything Texas requires, taught in straightforward, easy-to-follow lessons:
- Texas traffic laws and what's expected of you as a driver
- Defensive driving techniques that help you avoid crashes
- Spotting road hazards and knowing how to respond
- How distracted driving, fatigue, and alcohol actually affect your driving
- How to handle emergency situations behind the wheel
- Right-of-way rules, signs, signals, and managing your speed safely
Each section wraps with a short quiz to keep you on track — there's no final exam, just quick checks you can retake as needed. Free read-along audio is included if you'd rather listen than read.
